sea-green waves are swelling
hidden reasons why we came
answers form an inner calling
we will not be tamed
as tiny boats who sail the stars
here to know what magic we are
shining through the pouring rain
sunlit drops come home again
wisdom whispers, soft yet dear
hush now, love, have no fear
heartbeats shimmering
rainbows glimmering
hope—
to sit inside the flame
our light is all the same
we must withstand the heat
where souls and bodies meet
oh how they pound their endless drums
for when the world becomes undone
we learn to ride the waves as one
sons and daughters of the sun
