You like want to make me cry don’t you. I’m supposed to be doing my social issues paper, but I’m going to cry instead because of this beautiful chat 😭🙏✨
That's beautiful. So tender and nuturing. Reminds me of this, I wonder if you've read it. God Is a Verb (1997) by Rabbi David A. Cooper (explores Kabbalism).
thanks for reading/listening! i’ll have to check that out!
i did this piece as a little experiment, as its different than some of my other work, and it came through as a conversation. so i decided that might be nice, as we are always having internal dialogues with ourselves! 💕
It was a good experiment! I think you'll like that book. Cooper explains Kabbalah in ways similar to what you said -- the universe learning to love itself through its creations. And vice versa.
The dialogue between the piano and the cello reflects the theme (Spiegel im Spiegel / Mirror in Mirror) of this lovely piece, and the process of you tuning in to the Universe. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FZe3mXlnfNc
that was so beautiful. thank you. my youngest just lay on me and we listened and watched it together, as i’m still in bed. it made me tear up—so lovely. she said, ‘mom that was so beautiful and sad too.’
mo, this was such a beautiful reflection i just sat with my hand on my heart for a moment after reading it. all you said is so true! and it’s magical to allow a piece to come through and then have the same energy come back in a comment! thank you! 🙏✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

i believe alan watts spoke of this too. and i’ve felt this to be true when i’m very peaceful and tuning in sometimes.

Yes, life is like that. Glad you could share it.
🥰 i do believe this to be true. the universe is looking out from the center of our being like a giant eye. the eye of the i am.
